Purnea College of Engineering is one of the brand-new Engineering Colleges founded by the Government of Bihar under the Department of Science and Technology. This Government Engineering college started its first educational concourse in the year 2017, with the collaboration of Government Polytechnic, near Ramnagar Purnea.

The college has four core branches of Engineering.
Intake of 60 students per branch and 240 students in whole.
10+2 qualified students can apply for admission.
Admission to the course will be based on the marks obtained in either JEE or BCECE.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must be qualified up to Intermediate with 75% marks or maintained the position in top 20 percentile is eligible to apply.
The entrance exam is held every year, the candidate must apply for the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (B.C.E.C.E.) and the college also offers admission on the rank of JEE Entrance Exam.
The candidate must qualify for the cut-off of the entrance exam. The cut-off varies from year to year.
Once you qualify the cut-off, you will be eligible for participating in the counselling process where you can process for the branch, the different branches have different cut-off scores.
Once you will clear all the process of counselling, you will be eligible for taking admission in the institute.
