KUK DDE Admission 2023 (Open): Last Date, Courses, Eligibility, Application Form

Ans. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), an autonomous body of the University Grants Commission to assess and accredit universities and colleges, has conferred an ‘A’ grade to Kurukshetra University. 

Ans. This institute has highly sophisticated facilities that involve the following:

• Student support services: It is made to ensure removal of difficulties at personal level so that participation of the students in this programme becomes really effective and meaningful.
• Computer Labs: DDE KUK has two well equipped centrally air conditioned Computer Labs for use by the students of distance education courses.
• Library cum Study center: DDE KUK has a centrally air conditioned Library-cum-Study Centre in its premises at Kurukshetra. Students can visit the Library of the Directorate to take advantage of the facilities available to consult books during office hours.

Ans. The university has an excellent placement cell that schedules campus interviews and placement drives while conducting several workshops related to personality development, soft skills development, and many more similar activities. With many reputed companies like Infosys, TechMahindra, and IBM visiting the campus for recruitment, the placement season is quite fruitful with most of the deserving candidates getting placed. Another key fact that stands is that 70-80% of the CSE batch consistently gets placed every year.

Ans. The University offers many scholarships such as:

• Golden Jubilee Postgraduate Scholarships-

The scholarship is awarded to 90 students of P.G.courses of the University Teaching Departments(except SFS courses) including 45 scholarships for the 1st and 2nd semester and 45 scholarships for the 3rd & 4th semester. Students falling under the category of Below Poverty Line (BPL)/ Poor/ Needy and deserving having at least 2nd division at graduation level are eligible to apply. The University grants Rs.500/- p.m. for 10 months every year.

• Smt. Kiran Yadav Scholarship-

Scholarship of Rs.1,000/- p.m. known as “Smt. Kiran Yadav Scholarship” every year to a student doing B.Ed. Special Education (Visual Impairment) in the Department of Education who is a resident of Haryana and fulfills one of the following eligibility criteria :

1. Physically Challenged/Differently able.
2. Widow/Divorcee Woman

iii. Ward of a Marginalized farmer

1. Ward of a Martyr in Defence
2. BPL Card Holder

Ans. In collaboration with the Department of Employment of the Haryana Govt, DDE KUK runs a full-fledged Employment Information and Guidance Bureau to assist the students in making career and courses.
