T John College (TJC) Bangalore Admission 2023: Dates, Eligibility

T John College offers a fulltime BE program at the undergraduate level. The duration of the BE course offered by the institute is 4 years.

Eligibility: A pass in 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 45% of marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC category Karnataka students) in Physics, Maths, Biology, Bio-Technology, Chemistry, Computer Science or Electronics.

Selection Process: Admissions are offered to these engineering courses on the basis of qualifying scores in Karnataka CET, COMEDK or JEE Mains exam.

T John College UG Eligibility: 

BBA, BHM, B.Com, B.Sc (Fashion and Apparel Design) and BA (Journalism, English, Psychology): Candidates should have a passed XII standard/10+2/Pre University Courses (PUC) with any combination. 

BCA: To be eligible for BCA Program, candidates should have passed PUC-II Science, Arts or Commerce with minimum 35% marks/Job Oriented Diploma Course or JODC with 35% marks/3 years Diploma in Engineering with minimum 35% marks.

T John College UG Selection Criteria: 

Admission to all the UG courses except BCA, are based on the merit of the qualifying examinations. 

For admission to BCA Course, 50% weightage will be on the merit of qualifying examination and 50% weightage will be on the Entrance Exam conducted by the college. Seats will be allocated through counselling by the college.

T John College offers MBA, MCA and M.Com courses. The duration for each of the MBA and M.Com courses is 2 years while for MCA course is 3 years duration.

To be eligible for MBA Program, candidates should have passed any degree course (10+2+3 or 10+2+4 level) with 50% marks (45% SC/ST/OBC/Category-I Applicable only for Karnataka students) in the aggregate from a recognized university. To be eligible for MCA, candidates should have an undergraduate degree of minimum 3-year duration in any discipline from a recognized university with not less than 50% aggregate and studied Mathematics or Statistics or Computer Science or Computer programming or Business Mathematics or Business Statistics as one of the electives at Degree Level.

To be eligible for M.Com, candidates should have passed B.Com/B.B.M/ BBS /BBA from Bangalore University or of any other University recognized as equivalent thereto and secured not less than 50% of the marks in the aggregate in all the Commerce subjects of Business Education in all the years.

Admission to PG courses will be based on merit in the qualifying examination.
