Phase 1: CSAS 2023 Application Form
- Aspirants are required to fill the CSAS 2023 application form on the centralized admission portal by paying a one-time non-refundable application fee.
- ECA and sports quota candidates will have to pay an additional fee.
Phase 2: Selection of Courses and College Preferences
- Second phase will start after the results of the CUET UG examination are declared.
- After the CUET UG 2023 Result declaration, eligible candidates will have to select the courses and fill the preference of desired colleges on the centralised CSAS portal.
Phase 3: Seat Allocation and Final Admission
- Merit list will be declared on the basis of CUET UG scores.
- Multiple rounds of seat allotment will be conducted.
- Candidates will have to check if they have been allotted a seat on the CSAS dashboard. If allotted, candidates must accept their seat on or before the given date for that particular round.
- Seat allocation will be based on multiple factors such as - combination of college and program chosen, position of the candidate on the merit list, category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/UR) of the candidate, and availability of seats.
- Upon acceptance of a seat, the university will check eligibility, verify documents, and confirm admission after receiving the payment of fee.

Shyam Lal College UG Selection Process
Candidates seeking admission to the UG courses at Shyam Lal College must clear the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). The final selection will be done through e-counselling conducted by Delhi University on the basis of CUET scores. CUET is divided into the following three sections:
- Section 1 Languages: this further contains two sections, ‘A’ and ‘B’.
