At undergraduate level, College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology (CAET) offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree program specializing on Agriculture Engineering. The B.Tech program takes four years to complete the duration period.
Students are admitted to B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering) course on the basis of their performance and ranking in the Common Entrance Test conducted by Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT).
However, candidates need to pass 10+2 level examination or equivalent examination with PCM / PCB combination, in order to be considered eligible for the B.Tech program.

At postgraduate level, the college offers a two-year full-time postgraduate program leading to M.Tech degree in Farm machinery and Power (FMP), Soil and Water Conservation Engineering (SWCE) and Agricultural Processing and Food Engineering (APFE). All the specializations are offered for a duration period of two years.
Admission in the M.Tech( Ag) program is on GATE score and merit basis. However, candidates must have to be Graduate in respective subject in order to meet the eligibility criteria.

CAET offers Ph.D. degree programs to the research aspirant students in the field of Agro Science and Technologies specializing on Farm Machinery and Power, Soil and Water Engineering, Agricultural Process & Food Engineering with the intake capacity of two seats (each). The maximum course duration is three years for each of the specializations.
For admission to the Ph.D. program, a candidate must hold a Master’s degree in respective discipline. Admission are on the basis of Merit and Interviews conducted by Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT).
