IHM, Shimla offers 3 years full time B.Sc. Degree in Hospitality and Hotel Administration to equip students with the required skills, knowledge and attitude to efficiently discharge supervisory responsibilities in the hospitality sector.

Specialization - The institute offers only 1 specialization i.e. B.Sc. in Hospitality & Hotel Management

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with English as a compulsory subject.
• Age limit is 22 years, relaxable upto 25 years for SC/ST category candidates as of July 1.

Selection Criteria

• Candidates need to register for NCHMCT JEE 2023 Counselling by visiting the official website.
• After successful registration, candidates can fill their choice of institutes in the order of preference and lock the final choices.
• Candidates are required to report at the NCHMCT JEE Reporting Center, failing to which their seat is given to the next candidate in the list.
• Now, candidate need to report at the allotted institute and process of hostel allotment begins once a candidate reports at the allotted institute
• After hostel allotment, NCHMCT JEE 2023 Admission closes.

The institute offers a 1.5 years Diploma in Food Production to prepare the student for an exciting and profitable career in food production. The basic eligibility for admission to this course is a pass in 10+2 examination with English. Admission to this course is merit based.

Specialization - Diploma is offered in only one specialization i.e. Food Production.

The institute offers a 1.5 years Diploma in Food & Beverage Service aimed at preparing students for entry level recruitment as skilled workforce for food and beverage operations. The basic eligibility for admission to this course is a pass in 10+2 examination with English. Admission to this course is merit based.

Selection Criteria 

Candidates are selected based on the combined merit of the candidate in the qualifying examination and PI conducted by the Selection Committee at the Institute.
