Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Civil Engineering is an undergraduate engineering degree of four year duration. 10+2 pass students with science subjects are eligible to take admission in this course. Admission in most of the colleges offering Civil Engineering is done though any of the entrance tests conducted at national and state level.

Average tuition fee for this course ranges between 2 to 4 lakhs in most of the public institutes and 3 to 6 lakhs in private colleges. However there are some government colleges which offer this course at very less tuition fee.

Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination from a recognized board, with at least 50% marks in PCM (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category in Science stream).

100% Seats are filled through JEE score based counseling conducted by Uttrakhand Technical University Dehradun. Out of Total Seats, 90% Seats are for Uttarakhand domiciles and 10% for All India students.
