Both Indira PIBM and RIIM Pune are reputed management institute. But as far as an MBA institution is concerned, check some facts to reach a conclusion. RIIM Pune is great in aspects like the faculty members, placement scenario, practical experience, etc. I can give you some insight into RIIM as I have a few friends there.

RIIM Pune is ranked among the top B-Schools of Pune. The curriculum is designed according to the industry’s needs.

Placements:

• Here, the companies offer good placements with a package that starts with 5.5-5.6 LPA.
• The highest packages that are offered are around 14-15 LPA.
• The profiles that students are offered jobs in are- commercial credit, equity research, investment banking, business analysis, corporate finance, digital marketing, retail management, channel management, etc.
• Two internship programs are offered at RIIM Pune, which are summer and winter internship programs. This gives you exposure to the corporate world.

Extracurriculars:

• There are various skill enhancement certified programs that include- Business Intelligence/Analyst, SAP (Basic), Six Sigma, Advance Excel via Microsoft, etc.
• A Digital Marketing Certification is also provided from IIM Kozhikode and another Management Development Programme from IIM Indore.

Since the intake at RIIM Pune is limited, every student, individually, gets the attention of the professors. Other colleges take 500+ students where the attention of the professors is always divided. RIIM has a faculty set of highly experienced people.

Keeping industrial visits aside, there are frequent guest lectures by experienced professionals. The college focuses on creating managers who are street-smart and as far the curriculum of the college is concerned, it serves the purpose well.

RIIM is great as it makes the students ready for industry management in the future.

Having friends in both the colleges, I can suggest you go for RIIM Pune. It is a better choice, considering some of the most important factors like return on investment, quality of education, placement, affiliation, and course curriculum.

RIIM Pune and ISMS are two famous institutes for MBA in Pune, both being quite good in their fields over the years. But, RIIM is somewhat surpassing the other in most of the essential aspects.

• The course curriculum has the basic MBA/PGDM subjects, along with proper employability and management development programs.
• The MDP is done with the aid of IIM Indore. The employability program held by RIIM has several pieces of training, which provides practical exposure.
• It covers computer skill and communication development, placement readiness training, industry visit, management games, case study discussion, etc.
• As a part of the curriculum structure, RIIM provides courses in SAP, Six Sigma, Business analytics, Digital Marketing, Business Intelligence, etc, along with its necessary certifications.

Both of the mentioned colleges are good but amongst the two, RIIM is far better when compared with PIBM in Pune. In terms of the fee structure, there is a huge difference between both colleges. The fee structure offered by RIIMs is less than PIBM.
