PGDAV College Admissions 2023 will be based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores conducted by NTA. For all UG courses, Aspirants need to appear for the CUET UG exam, and candidates applying for PG courses are required to appear for the CUET PG exam. Earlier for PG admissions, Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) used to be accepted, but from 2023 onwards, PG admissions will only be based on the CUET PG exam.

Once the CUET results are out, Candidates need to register themselves on Delhi University’s admission portal - admission.uod.ac.in for all UG and PG course admissions. After applying to Delhi University, one needs to fill in the preference for colleges and courses. Seats will be allocated through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for UG courses.

For PG admissions, 50% of the total seats are to be filled on a merit basis in qualifying examinations for those students who did their bachelor’s degree from Delhi University. The remaining 50% of the total seats are to be filled on the basis of CUET PG Exam Scores. PGDAV College also provides 50% of seats reserved for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD category students.

PGDAV Undergraduate Admission 2023

PGDAV College offers UG courses in various fields such as Arts and Commerce. Candidates will be admitted into the college if they succeed to meet the selection criteria. Candidates will be able to choose only one course and one college at a time. In order to complete the admission process the candidate will have to pay the admission fee.

PGDAV College UG Selection Process

Selection to the UG courses are based on the CUET examinations conducted by the university followed by e-counselling rounds. Those candidates who qualify in their CUET examinations will be required to enroll for e-counselling. Candidates will then be able to choose which college they wish to attend through the two rounds of e-counselling. 

Furthermore, CUET examinations are divided into three sections:

  • Section 1 Languages: this further contains two sections, ‘A’ and ‘B’. Section ‘A’ contains 13 languages such as Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, etc. Section ‘B’ contains 20 languages such as French, Spanish, German, Nepali, Persian, etc. For admission candidates must at least appear in one language. 
  • Section 2 Domain Specific: There are 27 domain specific subjects in this section. Candidates are required to refer to the program specific eligibility criteria in order to select domain specific subjects. 
  • Section 3 General Test: General test for any UG programme offered by the university where the general test is being used for admission. Candidates must refer to the program specific eligibility criteria for selecting general tests.

PGDAV College UG Application Process

Admission dates are declared by the Delhi University. The university opens a common UG application portal where candidates can submit their applications.

  • Candidates have to register themselves on the common application portal 
  • After the registration, candidates can begin to fill the Online Application Form using their credentials 
  • Candidates must fill the Online Application Form with care as they will not be able to make any changes in the future. 
  • Candidates are advised to carefully select the college and courses they want to opt for UG programmes. 
  • Candidates need to attach certain documents while submitting the form such as photograph, signature, identity proof, etc. 
  • Candidates need to pay the application fee at the time of submitting the form or else the Online Application Form will not be considered. 
  • Candidates can login to their portals for any new updates, college cutoffs and so forth. 

Candidates who are accepted must report to the college where the cutoff percentage is met. Candidates will be required to carry some documents with them such as Character certificate, provisional certificate, self attested photocopies of all the documents submitted above, class 11 and 12 original marksheets, etc. 

Candidates will require the following documents for the admission process: 

  • Class 10th and 12th marksheet
  • Character Certificate
  • 3 passport size photographs
  • Transfer or migration certificate (if applicable) 
  • Caste certificate (if applicable)

PGDAV Postgraduate Admission 2023

Admission to the PG course will be based on the performance in the qualifying examination or the rank secured in the entrance examination conducted by the university. Candidate holding a bachelor's degree in the relevant subject from Delhi University only will be eligible for Direct admission/Merit-based admission.

The rest admissions will be based on the rank secured in the entrance examination of DU.

PGDAV College PG Eligibility Criteria:

  • For admission into the M.Com programme, the candidate must have a bachelor's degree in commerce with 50% marks secured for Entrance based admission and 65% marks for Merit-based admission.
  • For admission into the M.A/M.Sc Mathematics, the candidate must have a B.A./B.Sc in Mathematics with minimum 50% marks secured for Entrance Examination based admission and 60% marks for Merit-based admission.
  • For admission into the M.A Hindi and Political Science, the candidate must have a bachelor degree holder in Hindi and Political Science, respectively, with minimum 45% marks secured for Entrance based admission and 65% marks for Merit-based admission.

PGDAV College PG Selection Criteria:

  • Admission to postgraduate courses will be based on either mark secured in the qualifying examination or through the entrance examination conducted by DU.
  • Candidate of Delhi University with a bachelor's degree in a relevant subject will be eligible for direct admission based on the performance in the qualifying examination.
  • The selection of the rest of the students will be according to the score and rank secured in the entrance examination conducted by Delhi University.
  • Document verification and payment of programme fee will confirm admission.

Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) Admission Process 2023

Delhi University has introduced the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for admission to UG courses for all its affiliated colleges. The entire process is explained below:

Phase 1: CSAS Application Form

  • Aspirants are required to fill the CSAS application form on the centralized admission portal by paying a one-time non-refundable application fee.
  • ECA and sports quota candidates will have to pay an additional fee.

Phase 2: Selection of Courses and College Preferences

  • Second phase will start after the results of the CUET examination are declared.
  • After the CUET Result declaration, eligible candidates will have to select the courses and fill the preference of desired colleges on the centralised CSAS portal.

Phase 3: Seat Allocation and Final Admission

  • Merit list will be declared on the basis of CUET scores.
  • Multiple rounds of seat allotment will be conducted. 
  • Candidates will have to check if they have been allotted a seat on the CSAS dashboard. If allotted, candidates must accept their seat on or before the given date for that particular round.
  • Seat allocation will be based on multiple factors such as - combination of college and program chosen, position of the candidate on the merit list, category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/UR) of the candidate, and availability of seats.
  • Upon acceptance of seat, the university will check eligibility, verify documents, and confirm admission after receiving the payment of fee.

Candidates seeking admission PGDV College must register for CUET examination first and then on Delhi University’s Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS). The application process for Delhi University UG and PG programs is mentioned below:

DU Application Process Through CUET UG/PG

  • For UG admissions, candidates must visit the official CUET UG official website - cuet.samarth.ac.in.
  • For PG admissions, visit the CUET PG official website – cuet.nta.nic.in.
  • Upon opening the website candidates will find the ‘Register’ tab, they must click on it. 
  • After reading and understanding the information provided, candidates must hit the ‘Proceed’ button. 
  • After this, candidates will be directed to the application form. Candidates must fill in the required details carefully. 
  • After filling the necessary details candidates will have to upload important documents such as signature, photograph, marksheet, etc. Candidates must upload all the required documents. 
  • Candidates need to pay the application fee at the time of submitting the form or else the Online Application Form will not be considered.
  • After submitting the fee, candidates print out the form and save a hard copy for future reference.

DU Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) Application Process

  • Visit the official website of Delhi University – admission.uod.ac.in or CSAS portal – cuet.samarth.ac.in.
  • Click on “Register” in the menu bar.
  • Read all the information carefully and then click on “proceed”.
  • Enter your personal and academic details.
  • Submit the necessary documents such as photograph, signature, class X marksheet, category certificate.
  • Pay an application fee through credit card/debit card/net banking/UPI/etc.
  • Submit the application form.
  • Take a printout of application form for future reference.

PGDAV Reservation Policy:

Reservation will be applicable to all the courses. Candidate belonging to these categories must have the caste certificate with them for verification.
