Is it mandatory to give an entrance test?

The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by Council of Architecture is mandatory for admission to first year B.Arch. course for all architectural institutions in the country. It shall be mandatory for every architectural institution imparting 5-year B.Arch. degree course in the country to join the NATA and to admit students on the basis of valid NATA marks in the said course.

VSAP, Hyderabad B.Arch Admission 2023

VSAP offers B.Arch program in full-time for the duration of five years at the UG level. The minimum eligibility is 10+2 with 50% marks in aggregate with Mathematics as one of the main subjects. Candidates with a Diploma in Architecture are also eligible to apply.

Admission is subject to candidates’ score in NATA conducted by the Council of Architecture. This test is conducted to test Mathematical, Aptitude and Drawing ability of a candidate.
