IITM Sonepat offers 5 B.Tech specializations for a duration of 4 years. Admissions are based on the JEE Main examination. The specializations include:

• Mechanical Engineering

• Electronics & Communication Engineering
• Computer Science Engineering. 

IITM Murthal B.Tech Eligibility

• Candidates applying for the regular B.Tech programs must have qualified 10 + 2 with at least 45% with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational Subjects. 
• Candidates applying for the Lateral entry B.Tech programs must have 45% marks in Diploma in Engineering/ Technology of the duration of 3 years or more or B.Sc. Degree with at least 45% marks or D. Voc. Or Any other equivalent examination
• A 5% concession in marks is given in case of Reserved Category Candidates. 

IITM Murthal B.Tech Selection Criteria

• Candidates must apply for the JEE Main examination and participate in the subsequent counseling. 
• Candidates must register at the official JoSAA Website. Fill in the application form with the required details. Lock the choices and print the form. 
• The students will be allotted with the respective options as per the cut-off.

How to Apply for B.Tech?

Documents Required

• 10th DMC for All Courses
• 10+2/ Diploma or Equivalent
• Migration Certificate (original)
• Character Certificate (original) 
• Medical Certificate 
• Copy of Aadhaar 
• Card Copy of Residential Proof 
• Anti Ragging undertaking by student 
• A signed copy of Rules and Regulation of Institutions 
• Colour Photographs of White Background (5 No)
• JEE Rank Card

Application Process

• Visit the official website of JEE Main.
• Register for the online application.
• Login with the password and application number, and fill the form. 
• Upload the Scanned photograph of size 10 kb to 200 kb in JPG/JPEG format.
• Upload the Scanned signature of size 4 kb to 30 kb in JPG/JPEG format.
• Pay the application fee of INR 650 for general category and INR 325 for ST/ SC category through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking/ PAYTM/ UPI
• Submit the form and print the confirmation page for future reference.

IITM Sonipat offers M.Tech in 2 specializations: Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science Engineering. Both courses are of 2 years of duration. Admission to both the M.Tech programs is based on the merit achieved in the GATE Examination, followed by subsequent counseling and interview. 

Eligibility

Candidates applying for these courses must have qualified B. Tech., M.C.A, M.Sc. (Maths / Physics/ Computer/ Electronics) or any other equivalent examination. 

IITM Murthal M.Tech Selection Criteria

• Admissions are based on GATE scores for M.Tech programs. Candidates must register at the official CCMT website. 
• Candidates can fill in the application form and pay the application fees. 
• Enter choices in order of decreasing preference. 
• After the rounds of counseling, seats will be allotted. Original documents must be carried on the day of admission.

How to Apply for M.Tech?

Documents Required

• Scanned copy of the Eligibility Certificate in pdf format, Degree Certificate, Provisional Certificate, or Certificate from the Head of the Department/ Institute format, available on the GOAPS website.
• Scanned copy of the PwD and Dyslexia certificate (if applicable) in pdf format.
• Scanned Passport size photograph of the candidate of size 480×640 to 240×320 in JPEG format.
• Scanned signature images of size 160×560 to 80×280 in JPEG format.

Application Process

• Register for the exam on the official website
• Enter the login details for creating a user ID and password.
• Enter personal login with the generated user ID and password and enter personal information like name, date of birth, personal mobile number, parents’ name, parents’ mobile number, etc.
• Upload photograph, signature, and other required documents.
• Pay the application fee and submit it.

The institute offers BBA and BCA courses, each of 3 years duration. It also offers Polytechnic Diploma courses in 3 specializations: Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. These courses are offered in regular mode as well as in lateral entry mode. The regular courses are 3 years long, while the lateral entry course duration is 2 years. 

Candidates are expected to apply online on the official website of the college. On the basis of the marks in the qualifying examination, seats are provided.
