Master of Technology [M.Tech] (Electronics and Communication Engineering) From SSM College of Engineering and Technology, Baramulla

SSM College of Engineering offers M.E./ M. Tech degree programs in the disciplines of Computer Science, Thermal, Applied Electronics, and Textile Chemistry. Selection of engineering candidates is done on the basis of GATE/ TANCET score through TANCA counselling.

The full time M.E/ M.Tech program is offered in the following specializations:

Eligibility Criteria

• ·The basic eligibility criteria for admission to the M.E./ M. Tech courses is a B.E./ B. Tech degree in the relevant discipline with 50% marks.
• · The minimum marks eligibility criteria for reserved category candidates is 45% marks (for all PG courses) in the qualifying degree examination.
• · The candidates with B.E./B. Tech degree through distance mode are not eligible for admission to M.E./ M. Tech programs.

Selection Process

• Candidates must download the counselling call letter and visit the counselling venue on the assigned dates along with all relevant documents (original and photocopies) and a demand draft of INR 5000.
• Candidates are required to obtain a counselling form from the bank counters by showing his/her call letter and DD of the prescribed counselling fee.
• After that, in the supervision of a counsellor, candidates can choose college and course preferences
• Candidate is then offered an allotment order which needs to be signed by the applicant and the demand draft for counselling fee be submitted in order to complete the allotment process.
• Subsequently, the candidate must report at the college and submit the allotment order to confirm his/her admission.

How To Apply For M.E. / M.Tech. Courses?

• Candidates may apply for TANCA counselling by visiting the Anna University website and filling the online application/ registration form.
• The prescribed application fee for TANCA counselling can be paid online through various payment modes such as credit/ debit card, internet banking etc.
• Candidates must take a printout of the complete application form and send a copy of the same to the Director (Admissions), Anna University.
