B.Tech

Students who want to get admissions into B.Tech courses can apply through both online and offline using following steps:

For Online Mode:

• Eligible candidates should fill the application form available on the official website of the college.
• Fill the application form carefully.
• Fill all required fields (compulsory).
• Submit the application form.
• Pay the application fee of INR 1400 online through Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card.

For Offline Mode:

• The application form can be obtained from Indian Institute of Information Technology, Dharwad.
• Application fee of INR 1400 can be paid either by cash on personal basis or by Demand Draft.
• Eligible candidates must fill the form and submit the form by hand at the time of admission.

Documents have to be submitted with the application form:

• Provisional Seat Allotment order
• 10th mark sheet (original with photocopy)
• 12th mark sheet (original with photocopy)
• Diploma mark sheet (for B.Tech lateral entry students)
• Proof of residence
• Medical certificate
• Student Aadhar card
• Students photographs
• Income certificate (if applicable)
• Category certificate (if available)
• Admit card of JEE Main 2020
• OCI certificate or PIO card (if available)

Ph.D:

• Applicants must fill the online application form available at the Institute website.
• Separate application form is to be filled if applicants are applying in more than one discipline and in more than one scheme.
•  Applicants awaiting for their qualifying exam results can also apply subject to the condition that the results will be declared before the admission begins. 
• Reservation as per Government of India rules is applicable. 
•  Applicants should complete the application form in all respects. Incomplete application will not be considered. 
• Applicants must also provide the details of at least two well acquainted people who can provide reference letters in support of candidature of applicant. At least one of them must be an academician and must have taught the applicant. 
• Applicants are advised to check the Institute website for results / important announcements. 
• Applicants are also advised to check emails sent to the email address provided in their applications for all important communications and announcements. 
• All communications related to admission will be communicated only through email. 
• No TA/DA will be provided to the candidates appearing for the screening test/interview. 
•  Applicants called for written test/interview should bring with them 
  • Any Photo ID Card issued by government, 
  • Printed copy of the application submitted online
  •  Thesis / dissertation / report / publications, 
  •  All Original certificates and mark-sheets, valid GATE/NET/SLET score cards, and caste certificates,

The candidate should have passed 10+2 in relevant stream from a recognized board

IIIT, Dharwad offers B.Tech programme under two specializations, namely - Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering.

Admissions into the B.Tech programme is on the basis of JEE Main score which is further followed by JOSAA counselling.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have passed 10+2 from science stream with minimum 60% marks in aggregate.

Selection Criteria

Admissions into the B.Tech programme is based on the score of JEE Main which is followed by JOSAA counselling.
