NIMAS Kolkata, inaugurated in the year 1999 is located in Barasat on the Northern Suburbs of Kolkata, West Bengal. It is an ISO 9001:2008 certified urban institute and is affiliated to Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT). NIMAS is celebrating 25 years of Academic Excellence and has been awarded as a Top Rated Institute for 6 years in a row.
Additionally, NIMAS is well-known in West Bengal for its leadership in the domains of Information Technology, Management and Paramedical Studies. All UG and PG Degree Courses offered by NIMAS are affiliated to MAKAUT, UGC, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India and have a reasonable course fee.
The major aim of the College is to provide students with a high-quality Education at an affordable cost, which is the college's fundamental purpose and mission statement. NIMAS Kolkata Admission
- NIMAS Kolkata Admissions are strictly based on merit of the qualifying examination.
- Admissions at the institute are completely based on MAKAUT CET scores and Personal Interview.
- Eligible candidates can apply on the institute’s official website @nimas.in
- The application form must be submitted with an application fee of INR 700 directly at the campus.
- Along with the application form, several other documents like classes 10 & 12 admit cards and marksheets, a passport sized-photo, self-attested copy of birth certificate, self-attested copy of passport / visa for foreign students, and self-attested copy of leaving certificate or migration certificate must also be submitted.
- The selected students will be notified about their registration date and time via email or phone call.
- Candidates must pay the registration fee and collect the registration letter from the campus on the appointed date and time.

NIMAS Kolkata Scholarship
NIMAS Kolkata also offers scholarship to its students. A scholarship of up to INR 1,00,000 can be availed by the students. However, candidates will have to meet the below eligibility criteria to avail of NIMAS Kolkata Scholarship:
- The student needs to maintain minimum 85% attendance throughout his/her academic tenure
- The student needs to score minimum 80% in all semesters
- The student needs to compulsorily attend all (at least 90%) academic & non-academic seminars.
- Rs. 25,000/- scholarship will be equally divided in all semester fees.
Note: In case the student fails to maintain the above mentioned conditions then scholarship will be immediately cancelled.
