Selection Criteria: 

Sibsagar Girls’ College conducts its admission process on a merit and/or interview basis. Students wishing to apply to this college need to meet the eligibility requirements aligned for different courses offered.

• In case of Higher Secondary Arts/Science, students must have cleared HSLC Examination of SEBA or any other examination recognized by the Assam University with a minimum of 45% marks.
• In case of Bachelor's degree Arts/Science, students must have cleared HSSLC/ Class 12th Examination with a minimum of 45% marks.
• English, MIL/ Alt. English are compulsory subjects for both Higher Secondary and Bachelor degrees.
• Elective subjects can be chosen as per one’s interest (As seats are limited, admission is subject to availability).

How to apply?

• Visit the official website of the College. https://sibsagargirlscollege.org.in/index.php.
• Click on the ‘Online Form Submission & Admission’ button available on the centre of the home page.
• It will redirect to the Sibsagar Girls’ College web portal from where one can apply online for a new admission or renewal.
• Applicants need to first register on the portal by providing details like name, email address, mobile number, OTP sent to contact information and generate password.
• Login to the portal with the credentials generated in the above step.
• Fill in the course that you want to apply for and then click on the ‘Obtain Admission Form’ button.
• Once the online form appears, you will have to fill in information like personal details, qualification, contact and also upload recent photographs, qualifying mark sheets, caste certificate, if any, other required documents.
• After clicking on all the required section, which will be marked with an *, click on the ‘Final Submission’ button.
• The form needs to be filled before the end date of admission, no extensions will be provided.
• Applicants need to download the copy of the admission form and have a printout handy. This will be required for verification purposes at the college.
• Merit list/ Waiting list will be updated on the college’s website.
