The Shripatrao Kadam Mahavidyalaya had been founded with the sole objective of pulling up the downtrodden of the society, the less fortunate lot of the society by providing them quality education and world class Degrees. This college has ever since its foundation, been among Asia’s best such institute. The founder was a Padma Bhushan recipient, late Dr. K. B Patil was himself very dedicated towards teaching the masses, and he was popularly known in this region as the man of the common masses. The college has till date been able to live up to his great name and expectations of the society. In mid-2006, apart from the traditional programs a few bachelor’s courses in computer studies like BCA had been introduced. Postgraduate courses in information technology was launched later on in 2009. The knowledge hunger of every student is met easily by the vast laboratories with up to date software.
