Rampurhat College was founded in the year 1950 in Rampurhat, West Bengal. The college is affiliated with the University of Burdwan.
At present, Rampurhat College has three departments namely Arts, Science, and Commerce and offers BA, BSc, B.Com (General and Honors) courses. BA Hons program is offered under 11 specializations whereas BSc Hons is provided under 5 disciplines.
