Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda College offers several UG Programs, BA in six specialization, B.Sc. in five specialization and a B.Com (General).

The basic eligibility criteria to take admission in any of these UG courses is to have passed 10+2/ HS in relevant stream.

Selection of the candidates in these courses is based on the merit of the qualifying examination.

• The candidates from Open Board or have obtained the qualification from a private institution must apply to the Registrar, University of Madras.
• The reply received must be attached along with the application form.
• The candidates with Business Mathematics are not eligible for B.Sc. Mathematics.
• For B.Com, the candidates with Business Mathematics/ Mathematics will be considered.
• The total intake of candidates in B.Com is 140 seats.
• The maximum age to apply for UG courses is 21 years.
• However for SC/ ST candidates, a relaxation of 3 year on age is granted.
• For Differently Abled candidates, a relaxation of up to 5 year is granted.

Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda College offers MA in four specializations, M.Sc. in three specializations along with five specializations in M.Phil.

The candidates seeking admission in MA & M.Sc. must have obtained a graduate degree in relevant subjects. However, for M.Phil. , the candidates are required to possess a master’s degree in the concerned branch.

The candidates in any of these PG Program are selected on the basis of the merit of the qualifying examination.

• Admission in M.Phil. , is based on the merit in the entrance examination conducted by the University of Madras.
• Entrance Examination for M.Phil consists of Multiple Choice Questions around Research Aptitude and syllabus of the related subject chosen by the candidate.
• The candidates who have qualified UGC NET/ CSIR-NET are exempted from the written examination.

Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda College offers Doctorate degree in six specializations. The candidates are eligible for admission in Ph.D. only after obtaining the Master’s/ M.Phil. degree in relevant subjects.

Selection of the candidates is based on the merit of the entrance examination.

• For admission in Ph.D, the candidates must visit the Head of the concerned Department.
• The candidates awaiting results of the qualifying examinations are also eligible to apply.
