I chose the BA English Hons course as I liked the subject. And I wish to establish a career in the same field as a researcher, critic and writer. Though I could not become a researcher yet. Currently, I am a UG teacher in a public school. There were nearly 60 students in the same batch of the same course. There were 4 faculty members and out of them, two had Doctorates while rest two were NET qualified. At present, there are probably 6 faculty members - 2 Doctorates, 3 NET qualified and 1 guest faculty with Masters. All are quite experienced and thus efficient as well. The rapport between the faculties and students is great and they are very friendly. Semester exams were held in the months of March and September every year for the respective semesters. Term exams were held on time as well. The question papers varied from moderate to tough and were easy on very rare occasions.
