About National Post Graduate College
National Post Graduate College was established in the year 1974 by the then Chief-minister of Uttar Pradesh, Late Chandra Bhanu Gupta. The College offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Arts and Commerce streams and under-graduate courses in Science and Computer streams. National Post Graduate College (NPGC) also offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs for skill development under Deen Dayal Upadhyay Kaushal Kendra established with a special grant from UGC. Six programs are being offered under Deen Dayal Upadhyay Kaushal Kendra - two 1 year programs under Community College and two degree and two post-graduate programs of ICT, ITES, and Banking, Insurance and Financial Services. Admission to NPGC is both merit and entrance based. The application mode is offline and online.

NPCG Admission
The admission to the college is based on the entrance exam i.e LUACMAT and Personal Interview/ Counselling held at the Institute. Admission to College is offline.
How to Apply?
- Candidates seeking admission in undergraduate programs must register themselves for LUACMAT conducted by the Institute through their respective official website. For admission 2022, applicants do not need to write the entrance exam due to COVID-19.
- Applicants then have to fill their application forms with their personal and academic information.
- The hard copy has to be sent via post or in person along with the admission fees.
- If the applicant (who are UG courses) is shortlisted for the further process, they have to sit for a personal interview/counselling.
- For confirmation of admission, students will be issued their offer letters, after which they are required to pay the required admission fees to secure their seats.

National Post Graduate College offers its students a dedicated team which handles all the placement services organized by the college. - Library: Library has 65000+ Print (Books, back volumes and thesis), 350 Non-Print (Microfiche, AV), 40300 Special Collection, 8000 References (eg. Textbook, Reference books, standards, patents).
- Infrastructure: The college provides an auditorium with a seating capacity of 800, Evaluation cell, Secrecy cell, Administrative block, Central library, underground parking, a hostel for girls, sports ground, separate common rooms for female students in every academic block with washrooms for female students, male students and staff separately, Labs, Auditoriums & Seminar Hall, etc.
- Canteen: There is a canteen in the college campus and it caters to the nutritional needs of students and teachers in most hygienic conditioned on subsidized rates.
- Sports: There is a full-time permanent faculty for sports and Physical Education under whose able guidance and directions various sports activities, competitions, tournaments and events are organised. Students get proper training for participation in both indoor and outdoor games. Inter degree collegiate cricket tournaments and Annual athletic needs are held by the Department of Sports and Physical Education. Students are provided equipment and facilities to participate in sports events organised by other agencies and institutions of Higher Education. Special training to girls’ students is given for self-defence.

- There is no ragging which is the best thing in national pg
- The faculties are very good and knowledgeable and have great knowledge of their field.
Dislikes
- There are not many job opportunities provided by the college. Students come here to study just because the fee is low and later on, they start preparing for their MBA. Students apply for jobs off-campus because there are not many job opportunities provided by the college campus.
- Scholarships are given by Lucknow University to SC, ST, and poor students. Scholarships are given to BPL students, and almost the whole of the fees is returned by the state government. In addition, extra benefits are also provided, such as books, pens, fees, etc.

Admission:
Students of any kind of subjects were eligible for the courses such as PCB, PCM, humanities and commerce in their intermediate. I found my application online on npgc website where I also got further knowledge. Application dates came near the 12th results. Yes, I did get the reservation benifits as being an OBC. The addmission process is well defined no further changes are needed
