Miranda House offers UG courses in different specializations. The courses offered are BA programme, BA (Hons.), B.Sc. B.Sc. (Hons.) and B.El.Ed. Candidates applying to any of the mentioned courses must qualify a 10+2 level exam in the relevant stream. Admission to these courses will be granted on the basis of CUET scores.

Miranda House UG Selection Criteria

Selection to UG courses are based on the CUET examinations conducted by the university followed by e-counselling rounds. Those candidates who qualify in their CUET examinations will be required to enroll for e-counselling. Candidates will then be able to choose which college they wish to attend through the two rounds of e-counselling. 

Furthermore, CUET examinations are divided into three sections:

• Section 1 Languages: this further contains two sections, ‘A’ and ‘B’. Section ‘A’ contains 13 languages such as Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, etc. Section ‘B’ contains 20 languages such as French, Spanish, German, Nepali, Persian, etc. For admission candidates must at least appear in one language. 
• Section 2 Domain Specific: There are 27 domain specific subjects in this section. Candidates are required to refer to the program specific eligibility criteria in order to select domain specific subjects. 
• Section 3 General Test: General test for any UG programme offered by the university where the general test is being used for admission. Candidates must refer to the program specific eligibility criteria for selecting general tests.

Miranda House UG Application Process

Candidates applying for UG courses at Miranda House can follow the below mentioned steps in order to apply for CUET

• Candidates must first visit the official CUET website that is: @cuet.samarth.ac.in. 
• Upon opening the website candidates will find the ‘Register’ tab, they must click on it. 
• After reading and understanding the information provided, candidates must hit the ‘Proceed’ button. 
• After this candidates will be directed to the application form. Candidates must fill in the required details carefully. 
• After filling the necessary details candidates will have to upload important documents such as signature, photograph, marksheet, etc. Candidates must upload all the required documents. 
• Candidates need to pay the application fee at the time of submitting the form or else the Online Application Form will not be considered.
• After submitting the fee candidates print out the form and save a hard copy for future references.
• Candidates can login to their portals for any new updates, college cutoffs and so forth.
• Candidates who are accepted must report to college where the cutoff percentage is met. Candidates will be required to carry some documents with them such as Character certificate, provisional certificate, self attested photocopies of all the documents submitted above, class 11 and 12 original marksheets, etc. 

Miranda House offers MA, M.Sc. courses under PG programmes in multiple specializations. Candidates applying to any of these courses must qualify Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant discipline. Selection process will be based on merit or Entrance Exam score.

Miranda House PG Courses Eligibility

• For applying to MA course candidates must qualify BA (Hons.)/ BA or equivalent in the relevant discipline with 55% minimum marks.
• Candidates applying to M.Sc. course must qualify B.Sc. (Hons.)/ B.Sc. or equivalent in the relevant discipline with 55% minimum marks.
• Applicants (for both MA & M.Sc. course) are required to score 60% and above to be eligible for Merit based admission.
• For Entrance based admission (for both MA & M.Sc. course) a minimum of 55% aggregate marks are required for being eligible to appear for the entrance exam.

Miranda House PG Courses Selection Process

• Admission is granted on the basis of Merit and valid DUET scores.
• As per DU guideline students who have complete their Graduation from any of the DU affiliated colleges and are seeking for PG admission in the relevant field can opt for merit based admission.
• Candidates Graduating from different Universities or with a Bachelor’s Degree in different subjects must qualify the DU conducted entrance exam (DUET).

Miranda House offers Certificate programmes in Foreign Language for 1 year, Computer Applications for 2 months and Computer Applications for Visually Challenged Students for 4 months.

Candidates applying to any of the Certificate courses must qualify the 10+2 level exam.

Miranda House Certificate Course Selection Criteria

• For Certificate courses in Foreign Language selection will be done on merit based on various categories.
• For Short Duration Certificate courses selection will be based on Written test/ Interview. 

Delhi University has introduced the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for admission to UG courses for all its affiliated colleges. The entire process is explained below:

Phase 1: CSAS Application Form

• Aspirants are required to fill the CSAS application form on the centralized admission portal by paying a one-time non-refundable application fee.
• ECA and sports quota candidates will have to pay an additional fee.

Phase 2: Selection of Courses and College Preferences

• Second phase will start after the results of the CUET examination are declared.
• After the CUET Result declaration, eligible candidates will have to select the courses and fill the preference of desired colleges on the centralised CSAS portal.

Phase 3: Seat Allocation and Final Admission

• Merit list will be declared on the basis of CUET scores.
• Multiple rounds of seat allotment will be conducted. 
• Candidates will have to check if they have been allotted a seat on the CSAS dashboard. If allotted, candidates must accept their seat on or before the given date for that particular round.
• Seat allocation will be based on multiple factors such as - combination of college and program chosen, position of the candidate on the merit list, category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/UR) of the candidate, and availability of seats.
• Upon acceptance of seat, the university will check eligibility, verify documents, and confirm admission after receiving the payment of fee.
