Miranda House admissions 2023 is based on Common University Entrance Test(CUET) conducted by NTA for all UG and PG programs. Candidates are required to appear for the CUET UG exam for admission to the UG program and for the PG program, applicants are required to appear for the CUET PG exam. Earlier Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) was accepted for PG programs but now it has been scrapped from the academic year 2023.
Once the CUET result is out, Candidates qualifying for all UG and PG programs will have to register themselves on Delhi University’s Admission Portal - admission.uod.ac.in. Further, they will be required to fill in their preferred program and college. For UG admissions, qualifying candidates from the CUET UG exam, are required to register themselves on Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) and seat allocation will be done through the CSAS portal.
For PG admission, 50% of the seats have been allocated to candidates with bachelor's degrees from Delhi University on the basis of merit in their qualifying examinations. Students who qualify for the CUET PG exam will fill the remaining half of the seats.

Miranda House UG Selection Criteria
Selection to UG courses are based on the CUET examinations conducted by the university followed by e-counselling rounds. Those candidates who qualify in their CUET examinations will be required to enroll for e-counselling. Candidates will then be able to choose which college they wish to attend through the two rounds of e-counselling.
Furthermore, CUET examinations are divided into three sections:
- Section 1 Languages: this further contains two sections, ‘A’ and ‘B’. Section ‘A’ contains 13 languages such as Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, etc. Section ‘B’ contains 20 languages such as French, Spanish, German, Nepali, Persian, etc. For admission candidates must at least appear in one language.
- Section 2 Domain Specific: There are 27 domain specific subjects in this section. Candidates are required to refer to the program specific eligibility criteria in order to select domain specific subjects.
- Section 3 General Test: General test for any UG programme offered by the university where the general test is being used for admission. Candidates must refer to the program specific eligibility criteria for selecting general tests.

- Upon opening the website candidates will find the ‘Register’ tab, they must click on it.

Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) Admission Process 2023
Delhi University has introduced the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for admission to UG courses for all its affiliated colleges. The entire process is explained below:
Phase 1: CSAS Application Form
- Aspirants are required to fill the CSAS application form on the centralized admission portal by paying a one-time non-refundable application fee.
- ECA and sports quota candidates will have to pay an additional fee.
Phase 2: Selection of Courses and College Preferences
- Second phase will start after the results of the CUET examination are declared.
- After the CUET Result declaration, eligible candidates will have to select the courses and fill the preference of desired colleges on the centralised CSAS portal.
Phase 3: Seat Allocation and Final Admission
- Merit list will be declared on the basis of CUET scores.
- Multiple rounds of seat allotment will be conducted.
- Candidates will have to check if they have been allotted a seat on the CSAS dashboard. If allotted, candidates must accept their seat on or before the given date for that particular round.
