VIIT Pune Admission 2024: Cut Off, Eligibility, Fees, Registration Process

VIIT, Pune offers B.Tech under 5 specializations. Admission to the course will be based on the performance in JEE Mains. The student can appear for MHT-CET if he/she belongs to the Maharashtra state.

The eligibility to apply for this course is 10 + 2 pass with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology or Vocational subjects as optional. 

Specializations and Intake:

VIIT Pune B.Tech Eligibility Criteria:

• Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) qualified from a recognized board of education.
• Minimum 50% marks should be secured in the final examination.
• 45% of marks must be secured by the SC/ST category students.
• Candidates appearing for the final examination can apply for admission. 

VIIT Pune B.Tech Selection Criteria:

• Admission to the course will be either based on the marks secured in the JEE Mains or MHT-CET.
• Qualified candidates will have to appear for the counseling conducted by DTE.

The institute offers admission to the M.Tech programme under 6 specializations with 18 intakes in each. B.E/B.Tech degree holders can apply for admission.

Admission to the course will be based on the marks secured in GATE.

VIIT Pune M.Tech Eligibility Criteria:

• B.E./B.Tech degree holders in the relevant subjects can apply for admission.
• Minimum 50% marks should be secured in the qualifying examination.
• 45% of marks should be secured by the SC/ST candidates.

Selection Criteria:

The selection for final admission will be based on the performance in GATE.

At the research level, VIIT offers Ph.D. IN 3 specializations. Students are granted admission to Ph.D. courses if they have completed a Master’s degree or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.

Note: For backward classes and differently-abled students, relaxation of 5% is granted as minimum eligibility.
