Came into existence in the year 2005 in Bhubaneshwar, Odisha, Trident Academy of Technology is known for its excellence in technical education. The college is affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha.
Trident Academy of Technology offers B.Tech, B.Sc. in Biotechnology, BBA and BCA under UG programs whereas the Post-Graduate Programme list includes M.Tech, MCA, MBA and M.Sc. Biotechnology.
- The application process is carried out in offline mode by the college is offline.
- For admission in B.Tech, a minimum of 45% marks in 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject is a must.
- Selection in the program is based on the rank scored in JEE Main . On the other hand, the lateral entrants must appear for OJEE to secure direct admission in the second year.
- Admission in B.Sc. Biotechnology, BBA and BCA require the aspirants to have passed 10+2 in relevant subjects. However, Mathematics must be one of the compulsory subjects at 10+2 level for admission in BCA. Graduate degree holders are eligible for Lateral entry in BBA & BCA second year.
- Selection in any of these courses is based on a first-come-first-serve basis and a subject to availability of seats.
- For M.Tech, MBA and MCA, a graduate degree in concerned subjects with minimum 50% marks from any recognized university/ institution is mandatory. However, applicants with BCA/ B.Sc. IT/ CS degree are eligible for Lateral Entry in MCA second year.
- The selection criterion is based on the score of OJEE However, the applicants who have qualified GATE and CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ CMAT are also eligible for admission in M.Tech and MBA.

- 3-year Diploma holders are eligible for Lateral Entry in the second year of any of these UG courses. However, they must appear for OJEE.

- Pranati Mishra Memorial Scholarship wherein the degree toppers are awarded Gold medal every year.

- Central Sector Scholarship
This scholarship is available for B.Tech students with minimum 75% marks in 10th and 10+2 along with a family income of 6 lac or less. The scholarship amount is of INR 10, 000 for first to third year and INR 20, 000 in the fourth year.
- Ex-Serviceman Scholarship
An amount of INR 25, 000 is granted to students with parents whose parents are serving or retired from the Armed Forces.
- Pragati Scholarship for B.Tech students
This scholarship is granted to girl candidates adopted by Prime Minister with a family income of 6 lac or less with INR 10, 000.
- Sitaram Jindal Scholarship
The scholarship is available for students with BPL Card with 70% marks (for Girls) and 77% marks (for Boys) in 10th and 10+2. The annual income of parents should not exceed 2.5 lac. The amount of scholarship for Girls is INR 12, 000 and INR 10, 000 for Boys.
