Gandhi Institute of Science and Technology (GIST) was established in the year of 2008 under the aegis of Sree Sivananda Vidyapeeth. The main objective of the institute is to impart quality education with value addition abreast to the requirements of global economy. The institute has achieved remarkable growth in the past five years because year by year student’s admission growth has been increased from 240 to 1000. It offers Bachelor of Technology course in 05 streams, Master of Technology in 04 streams and Polytechnic in 03 streams along with Master of Business Administration.

GIST has a tie up with various companies for internship like well– experienced and qualified technical supporting staff members who are committed to take up the task of imparting quality technical education by well designed teaching learning mechanism. It also offers state of the art infrastructure facilities to the students like Hostel, Library, Laboratories and Gymnasium etc. They also organize Extra & Co-Curricular activities so that students can gain the knowledge on the basis of the global standards.
