Dr. Samuel George Institute of Engineering & Technology (Dr.SGIT) was founded by Dr. A S GEORGE in 1997. The college is situated at at Markapur, Prakasam District of Andhra Pradesh. The college vision’s to create Discipline, Hard Work and Value of Time and motto is to convey quality technical education to the backward areas and to produce engineers with outstanding technical skills.
Dr.SGIT offers courses like B-Tech, MBA, and MCA in various fields. The college has an approximate of 56 acres of land, with fully developed classes and labs. The college is situated on Markapur-Hyderabad highway and which is nearly 5km from the town. The Faculty Student Ratio is 1:27, which is not that big thereby helping the students to embrace maximum of the knowledge.
