Andhra University College of Engineering for Women, was established in 1946 with an aim of the rights for education, enable social dignity and provide livelihood security for women. Educated women can have healthier families than illiterate women.

• Andhra University, is one of the oldest Universities in the country. It has around ten colleges under it in which one is the College of Engineering for Women. The college was founded in 2010.
• Women gain ability like awareness skills, knowledge, experience and confidence.
• The ambition is not just to give the right to education but to create opportunities and listen to the voices of Women who wish to make their professional careers.
