IHM Kolkata Admission 2024: Dates, Eligibility, Selection Criteria, Application Process

BSc Hospitality and Hotel Management is a 3-year program that provides knowledge and skills in the operational areas of Food Production, Food and Beverage Service, Front Office Operations, and Housekeeping. It also imparts management inputs in subjects as Sales & Marketing, Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Hotel, and Catering Law, Property Management, Entrepreneurship Development, etc.

Eligibility Criteria

• The candidates who have completed 10+2 in any stream or equivalent education from a recognized board are eligible for the course.
• The candidates should not be more than 22 years of age.

Selection Criteria

• The candidates are selected for the BSc Hospitality and Hotel Management course through NCHMCT JEE.
• The candidates who clear the minimum cut-off of the exam will be shortlisted for group discussion and personal interviews.

IHM Kolkata offers one postgraduate program with an MSc degree, The MSc course is a 2-year program offered jointly by NCHMCT and IGNOU. 

Eligibility Criteria

• The candidates who wish to apply for this course should have completed a BSc in HHM, from an institute recognized by AICTE.
• Candidates who have completed BSC in hospitality and Hotel administration from NCHM-IGNOU can also apply.

Selection Criteria

• The candidates are selected based on the scores of NCHM MSc JEE.
• Those who have cleared the cut-off will be called for group discussion and personal interviews.

How to Apply?

• The candidates will have to visit the NTA Official website. 
• They will have to register themselves for NCHM JEE using their email id and mobile number.
• Then they can start filling the online application. 
• The candidates will have to submit their personal and academic details and upload the required documents.
• Finally, they will have to pay the application fees.
