Yashwantrao Chavan College of Science was established in 1972 affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur. The college offers degrees in a variety of courses including physics and microbiology, geology, statistics as well as in chemistry and pollution, and also in botany, zoology, and mathematics as well as electronics for the graduation level. The p.g course, M. Sc. Micro biology offered in this college has been its prime crown for the past 32 years. M. Phil courses are also offered in this college in departments of physics, botany and zoology and PhD in microbiology. To achieve academic excellence, the institute has various programs such as scholar batch and remedial teaching for students and coaching for MHT-CET. I got 88 per cent in 12 results. I gave the neet entrance exam. There I got the less mark so I decided to take admission to BSc. I ask my friends for information about all colleges. Then I decided to take admitted to ycc college. I have no opportunity of reservation.

The admission process was online but now it's offline. You should have passed 12th science with at least 60%. The admissions are based on merit. after applying for the course wait till all the merit lists are released. there are reservations and fee concessions for reserved categories. you should have all the documents like marks card, migration certificate, caste certificate, etc.

I have passed my 12th in science stream and scored 88 per cent because of which I get allotted to this college for bscit through the admissions process. Then I visited the college. Then I went to the cash counter and took the admission form of 100rs and fill the form. There I fill my personal information and stuck the passport-size photograph. The eligibility for this course is that the candidate should be passed the 12th science stream. The fees of my college for the first year are 25,000rs. I am from the general category. so I didn't get admission through reservation. Now I am studying well.
