Kongu Arts and Science College (KASC), Erode offers B.Sc, BBA, BCA, BBA programs in various disciplines. The basic eligibility is a pass in HSC (10+2) examination or equivalent as per the norms of Bharathiar University.

Note: Candidate may apply for any of the UG programs by filling the prospectus available at the office after the payment of INR 200.

Admission to Post-graduation courses is offered on the basis of marks in the relevant Bachelor’s degree. Final selection is done by calculating the marks obtained in the relevant qualifying examination after verification of documents.

Except for MA, TANCET score is mandatory to secure admission in other PG courses.

• To apply for MCA, the applicant must appear in TANCET or any other entrance exam recognized by AICTE.
• Candidates who have cleared graduation in B.Sc. (Computer Science) may apply directly for MCA Lateral Entry program.

Kongu Arts and Science College offers part-time (PT) and full-time (FT) M.Phil. and Ph.D. courses recognized by Bharathiar University. Applicants seeking admission in these courses must have cleared the 2-year Master’s degree in the relevant stream. The college offers 5 seats for M.Phil. and Ph.D. program.

Key Points:

• M.Phil./GATE/CSIR-NET/SET qualified or teacher fellowship holder/scientists working in DRDO or Air Force faculty and foreign candidates need not appear in M.Phil. and Ph.D. CET entrance exam.
• The candidates who have obtained the PG Degree with less than 17 years of total duration of study are not eligible to apply for M.Phil. and Ph.D. programs.
• The candidates who are already employed are also eligible for admission to the M.Phil program.
• Full-Time M.Phil. is for the duration of one-year while the Part-Time course is extended to more than 2 years.

How to apply for M.Phil and Ph.D. programs:

Candidates are advised to follow the below-mentioned steps in order to apply for the M.Phil and Ph.D. programs:

1. Application form and Prospectus for M.Phil. (FT/PT) and Ph.D. (FT/PT) can be downloaded from the official website of the university.
2. The cost of application form is INR 500 for M.Phil. and INR 600 for the Ph.D. course.
3. The candidates need to send the application form along with Demand Draft of application fees payable in favor of “The Registrar of Bharathiar University’’ payable at Coimbatore.”
4. Attach necessary documents along with the application form for verification.
5. Applicant must send one copy of the above-mentioned documents and DD to Bharathiar University and another to the Principal/Director of Kongu Arts and Science College.
6. The filled in application form should reach the college on or before July 31, 2021.
