The Khalisani Mahavidyalaya is an undergraduate degree college, located in a rural setting, in Hooghly, West Bengal. The college was set up in 1970 and is affiliated to the University of Burdwan. Ans. Apart from personal counseling and mentoring by the Faculty, Khalisani Mahavidyalaya also conducts UGC Sponsored Career Oriented Job programs to develop competitive skills. The Career and Counseling Cell of the college also frequently organizes seminars to equip students for their future career.30 The College has additionally started a couple of Skill-oriented certificate programs such as Basic Computer and Communicative English in collaboration with the British Institute and Customer Relation and Sales/ ITES- BPO in association with Bandhan Bank, Konnagar.31
