Keshav Mahavidyalaya admissions 2023 will be based on Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores conducted by National Test Agency (NTA). Candidates seeking admission to UG programs must take the CUET UG examination. Keshav Mahavidyalalya also offers admission to Diploma and certificate courses based on merit in the last qualified examination.

Once the CUET results are released, the admission process will begin in three phases. In the first phase, eligible candidates will need to register themselves on Delhi University’s admission portal-  admission.uod.ac.in. Secondly, they will be asked to fill in their preference for the program and college. In the third and final phase, Seat Allocation will be done in multiple rounds based on multiple factors through Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal.

Keshav Mahavidyalaya UG Admission 2023

Keshav Mahavidyalaya offers UG curriculum in 4 streams which are Science, Arts, Commerce & Management. The courses which are provided by the college, B.Sc, B.A, B.Com and BMS. These courses are offered in several specialisations. To be eligible for UG curriculum students must pass intermediate graduation with 45% marks at least. Admission is based on the CUET marks followed by counselling.

Keshav Mahavidyalaya College UG Selection Process

Candidates seeking admission to the UG courses at Keshav Mahavidyalaya College must clear the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). The final selection will be done through e-counselling conducted by Delhi University on the basis of CUET scores. CUET is divided into the following three sections:

  • Section 1 Languages: this further contains two sections, ‘A’ and ‘B’. Section ‘A’ contains 13 languages such as Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, etc. Section ‘B’ contains 20 languages such as French, Spanish, German, Nepali, Persian, etc. For admission candidates must at least appear in one language. 
  • Section 2 Domain Specific: There are 27 domain specific subjects in this section. Candidates are required to refer to the program specific eligibility criteria in order to select domain specific subjects. 
  • Section 3 General Test: General test for any UG programme offered by the university where the general test is being used for admission. Candidates must refer to the program specific eligibility criteria for selecting general tests.

Keshav Mahavidyalaya Diploma & Certificate admission 2023

Keshav Mahavidyalaya offers Diploma and Certificate courses in Foreirn Languages. The duration of the Diploma & Certificate courses is 1 year. To be eligible for these courses students must pass 10+2 level from a recognised board. Admission will be granted on the basis of merit. Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) Admission Process 2023

Delhi University has introduced the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for admission to UG courses for all its affiliated colleges. The entire process is explained below:

Phase 1: CSAS Application Form

  • Aspirants are required to fill the CSAS application form on the centralized admission portal by paying a one-time non-refundable application fee.
  • ECA and sports quota candidates will have to pay an additional fee.

Phase 2: Selection of Courses and College Preferences

  • Second phase will start after the results of the CUET examination are declared.
  • After the CUET Result declaration, eligible candidates will have to select the courses and fill the preference of desired colleges on the centralised CSAS portal.

Phase 3: Seat Allocation and Final Admission

  • Merit list will be declared on the basis of CUET scores.
  • Multiple rounds of seat allotment will be conducted. 
  • Candidates will have to check if they have been allotted a seat on the CSAS dashboard. If allotted, candidates must accept their seat on or before the given date for that particular round.
  • Seat allocation will be based on multiple factors such as - combination of college and program chosen, position of the candidate on the merit list, category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/UR) of the candidate, and availability of seats.
  • Upon acceptance of seat, the university will check eligibility, verify documents, and confirm admission after receiving the payment of fee.
