The Kanchi Mamunivar Centre for Post Graduate Studies aims to cater to the expectations of hundreds of graduates and postgraduates, especially from the weaker sections of the society, aspiring to higher education and research. With its consistent remarkable performance, the Centre has achieved in getting the conferment of Autonomous Status and the honour of "A College with Potential for Excellence" by the UGC. It was established with the aim of Post Graduate and Research level Education development in the Union Territory of Puducherry. The good performance of this Centre has enabled it to find a place at both National and International levels within a short span of 19 years.

• Growing & Fast Progressing Institute- The institute has got the status of An Autonomous Institution, Accredited by NAAC – A level (in 2005) within 19 years of its inception. We have also entered with MOU with IGNOU, New Delhi to run IGNOU courses here. Special coaching classes are conducted to encourage students to take part in NET conducted by UGC and CSIR fellowship test.
• Women Care Centre- Our institute has first of its kind; a separate and specialised women care centre with all the resting facilities for girls. There is also the Government Health Centre situated very close to the institution to take care of students' health problems.
