Kalna College B.Ed Admission 2023

The college also offers B.Ed in multiple disciplines to interested candidates. In order to be eligible to apply for admission, applicants should be a graduate (10+2+3) with at least 50% aggregate marks. Selection of eligible candidates will be based on merit in the previous qualifying examination.

Key Points:

For Physical Sciences, applicants should have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at the graduate level and obtained a minimum of 300 marks in them altogether.
Students should not be above 38-year of age at the time of admission.
5% relaxation is given to SC/ ST/ PWD category students.
22% seats are reserved for SC candidates, 6% for ST students and 3% seats are reserved for PWD candidates.
The ratio of home university students to other university students is 80:20.

Students willing to get admission to Kalna college should follow the given steps to get admission to the college.

Application fee of INR 200 has to be paid online through ‘State Bank Collect’ fee collection system or offline mode to SBI Kalna, Bank of Baroda or Axis Bank.
To apply for B.Ed course, application fee is INR 500.
After paying the fee, login to the website using mobile number and DOB.
Fill the application form correctly and select four Honors subjects according to preference.
Students are advised to keep a copy of form and fee receipt and should produce the same at the time of counselling.
Result for the provisional merit list will be published in mid-June.
At the time of counselling, students have to bring their application form, application fee receipt, photocopy of Madhyamik admit card, higher secondary mark sheets, character certificate, caste certificate, physical handicap certificate, etc.
On the day of counselling, students can collect college fee receipt after payment, academic calendar, College ID, prospectus and admission fee receipt.
