Eligibility Criteria

B.Sc. degree from Bangalore University or any other equivalent university, in any life science subjects, with minimum aggregate marks of 50% for all optional subjects
Students who have passed B.Sc. Biotechnology/B.Sc. Biotechnology -integrated with minimum aggregate marks of 50%
Students who have passed B.Sc. honors in biotechnology, microbiology, botany, zoology or biology with minimum aggregate marks of 50% for all optional subject
Graduates from the following fields are also eligible(in the absence of the above criteria) with 50% marks in aggregate:
- Bachelor of Agriculture
- Bachelor of Dairy Science
- Bachelor of Horticulture
- Bachelor of Forestry
- Bachelor of Fisheries
- Bachelor of Pharmacy
- Bachelor of Engineering/Biotechnology)
- Bachelor of Medicine/Dental
- Bachelor of Agricultural Engineering
- Bachelor of Clinical Lab techniques

Admission Guidelines

The final selection is done based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination, entrance test scores (for selected courses) and performance in the personal interview.

Documents required at the time of admission are:

Marks card of Class 10 or equivalent examination
Marks card of Class 12 or equivalent examination
Degree /Under-graduation marks cards (3 years) issued by the university last attended
Provisional Degree Certificate
Migration Certificate issued by the board/university last studied in
Character Certificate issued by the head of the institution last studied in
Transfer Certificate issued by the head of the institution last studied in
Ten copies of passport size photographs
