- Attendance: The students have no strict border line of maintaining the minimum attendance. However, five marks or below are provided in internal marks based on the percentage beginning from 60% to 80 % and above. The students maintaining above 80% get five full marks for attendance.
- Examinations: Students pursuing B.Sc programme need to appear for Mid-Term Examination, End-Term Examination, Assignments, Class Tests, Presentation and Discussions etc for the final and end term evaluation.
- Evaluation: Students must obtain 40% aggregate marks in all theory examination (including internal assessment/ project work) and practical examination separately. AECC and SEC are assigned 100 marks each and 25 marks are assigned to Internal Assessment (IA).
- Reservation: Seats are reserved for different category students. Below mentioned is the reservation criteria:
- SC: 15%
- ST: 7.5%
- OBC: 27%
- PwD: <5%
- Supernumerary Seats: 5%
- Kashmiri Migrants: 5%
- Scholarships: Scholarships in the form of fee concessions are provided to needy and deserving students on the basis of their performance in the previous examinations. Following are the details:
- Scholarships for PwD candidates: Fees waiver + 50% Mess Subsidy upto INR 3000 pm, Fees waiver but no Mess Subsidy upto INR 8000 pm, No fees waiver and no Hostel Subsidy upto INR 8000 pm and above is offered to PwD candidates.
- Other Scholarships: These are offered by DAV, Single Girl Child policy, NCERT, FAEA, Inspire etc.
- Scholarship for the Enabling Unit: Two scholarships of INR 5000 and INR 3000 are given to the meritorious students of the Enabling Unit every year by the college Alumni Association.
