The Class of 2020 at IBS-Bangalore consisted of 491 students, of which 92% were placed during the campus placement drive. 

The total number of recruiters that participated in the placement drive was 84. The Top 10 Recruiters during the season were HDFC Bank, ICICI Securities, BlackRock Services, Deloitte Tax Services, CB Richard Ellis, Yes Bank, ICICI Bank, OYO Rooms, HCL Technologies, Amazon Development Centre India Pvt. Ltd, and Ernst & Young.

The overall average salary package bagged by the students during campus placements was INR. 6.42 LPA. The average salary for the top 10% of students was recorded at INR. 9.86 LPA while for the top 25% of students, the figure was INR. 8.22 LPA.

The IBS Class of 2020 has been placed in Banking and Financial Services, Consulting, Technology as well as in Media, Research, and E-Commerce spaces.

The following sectors hired the maximum number of students-

Financial Services

18% of the students got the offer from KPMG, Nestle, Blueocean, Federal Bank, Tata AIG who made their presence in the field of Financial Services.

Banking Sector

21% of the students bagged offers in the Banking Sector which were offered by major recruiters like Yes Bank, ING, Induslnd Bank, Kotak, ICICI, HSBC, etc.

Insurance Sector

The Insurance Stream witnessed jobs offered by corporates like HSBC, ICICI Bank, HDFC ERGO, Kotak, Capitalvia, Tolaram Group, and so on. From the whole batch, 7% were allotted roles in the insurance sector.

The rest of the batch has been placed in Banking & Financial Services, Consulting, and Technology as well as in Media, Research, and E-commerce spaces.
