Yes, at the end of the first year, students of the PGDM program are provided with internship opportunities. There is a provision for taking up the summer internship starting from the 2nd semester of the PGDM program.

How is PGDM at EDII Ahmedabad for career growth as a self-starter of a business?

If you want to run your own business, then do join this college. The college goes to the extent of saying that it is best for those who own family businesses but that is not entirely true. If you don't have an idea about your future business, be rest assured you will be pushed to find one. It isn't like most MBA colleges.

What are EDP Programmes at EDII?

The Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) at IDII is a course which helps a student in developing entrepreneurial abilities. The skills that are required to run a business successfully is developed among the students through this program. Sometimes, students may have skills but it requires polishing and incubation.

What is the start-up support provided by EDII?

EDII is a nodal institution as a part of the Industries & Mines Department, Government of Gujarat promoted Start-up Policy. It has been granted support through the Student Start-up Innovation Policy (SSIP) through the Education Department, Government of Gujarat. It is also a part of the Institutions Innovation Council (IIC) promoted by the MHRD Innovation Cell. Students working on their startup ideas would be supported through these policy initiatives of the Government of India and the Government of Gujarat.
