ABS Academy of Science Technology and Management Admission 2024: M.B.A. Admission, Application process

At Undergraduate level, ABS Academy of Science Technology and Management offers BBA, BCA and BHSM courses. Candidates applying for these UG courses should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized institute. Selection to the UG courses on the basis of entrance test conducted by the MAKAUT University.

At PG level, ABS Academy offers MBA in Marketing, Finance, System, and Human Resource. The basic academic eligibility is to have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Candidates applying should have a valid score in any of CAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ JEMAT. All candidates shortlisted on the basis of the entrance exams have to clear Group Discussion and Personal Interview conducted by the college.

 Key Points:

• The JEMAT written test will be of objective type consisting of three sections of 2 hours.
• English and Mathematics section will have 40 questions and reasoning section will have 20 questions.
• Candidates currently in the final year of the degree course are also eligible to apply.

The institute offers Education courses viz. B.Ed, M.Ed and a Diploma in Elementary education (D.El.Ed). Admission to various courses is on the basis of candidate’s performance in the qualifying exam.

Candidates applying for B.Ed course should have done graduation in any discipline with at least 50% marks.  Minimum eligibility for admission to diploma course is HSC with at least 50% marks. For M.Ed admission, candidates should have done B.Ed.

Key Points:

•  Candidates applying should not be more than 35-year of age.
• Relaxation of 5% in eligibility percent criteria is given to SC and ST candidates.

ABS Academy of Science Technology and Management offers 3-year Diploma Courses in five disciplines. Candidates applying should have passed class tenth with at least 50% marks. Candidates should also have scored minimum 90 marks combined in Mathematics and Physics.

Alternatively, candidates are also given admission on the basis of their performance in JEXPO entrance exam. JEXPO is a polytechnic entrance test in West Bengal. The exam is conducted by West Bengal State Council of Technical Education.

Key Points:

• 75% seats of approved Intake capacity will be admitted on the basis of counselling through JEXPO and rest 25% by the Institute on the basis of merit and a valid JEXPO Rank.
• JEXPO exam is of two hours and consists of two parts- Mathematics and Physics, Chemistry combined.
• 100 questions each are asked from two parts.
