JNTU College of Engineering, Hyderabad is a constituent college of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. The college was initially established as Nagarjuna Sagar Engineering College in 1965. However, initially the college was affiliated to Osmania University but later became a constituent college under JNTU, Hyderabad in 1972.
JNTU College of Engineering, Hyderabad imparts educational programs at the undergraduate and postgraduate. The college also offers integrated level programs focusing on the field of Engineering and Technology. It also offers a three-year MCA and a two-year M.Sc program along with two five-year Integrated programs.
- Admission are made as per the rules / guidelines prescribed by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) and JNTUH.

At undergraduate level, JNTU College of Engineering offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree program to the aspiring candidates who want to pursue their career in the field of Engineering. The B.Tech program is offered for four years. The intake capacity is 60 seats for each specialization.
Admission to the four-year Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) program is done on the basis of rank secured in the Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) conducted by the Govt. of Telangana State. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can only apply for the B.Tech course in this college.

JNTU College of Engineering Hyderabad M.Tech, MCA and M.Sc Admission 2023
At postgraduate level, JNTU College of Engineering offers Master of Technology (M.Tech), Master of Computer Application (MCA) and Master of Science (M.Sc) degree programs to the aspiring candidates. The duration period for the M.Tech and M.Sc programs is two years whereas the MCA program is of three years. The M.Tech program is provided with 16 different specializations and the M.Sc program is offered under four different specializations. The intake capacity depends upon the nature of specializations. The college also offers M.Tech and M.Sc programs on part-time basis for the working professionals.
Candidates seeking admission in M.Tech need to appear in GATE. Apart from the entrance test, the candidate must have qualified his / her Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline with minimum required marks.
Apart from GATE, admission to the M.Tech program is also done through TS PGECET counseling conducted by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education, Masab Tank, Hyderabad.
Admission to the three-year Master of Computer Applications (MCA) program is based on merit in TS ICET counseling conducted by the Convener, Admission, TS ICET.

JNTU College of Engineering also offers two Integrated Dual Degree programs in the field of Engineering and Business Administration. Both the programs are offered under multiple specializations with the duration period of five years.
