Program Structure:

  • Course Structure: The maximum duration granted to complete the PhD course is 5 years. The minimum number of working days in the even semesters shall be 75 days and for the odd semesters, there shall be a minimum of 50 working days. The scheme and syllabi of all semesters till the 5th semester are assigned by college administrations whereas, students will always be eligible to choose a course of their own choice (during internship or training).
  • Attendance: Candidates must maintain at least 75% attendance in the entire coursework to eligible for end term examinations
  • Assessments: Students are assessed based on their performance in internal examinations, assignments such as homework, problem-solving, group discussions, quiz, literature survey, seminar, term-project, etc.
  • End Term Examinations: Candidates who secure not less than 40% marks in end term examinations will be considered to pass in that semester. Students are provided with elective courses to choose from during the final semester of coursework.
