Bhavan's Tripura College of Science and Technology, Agartala is the pioneer College in the field of Science and technology. The College was requested by the Government of Tripura to set up a college of Science & Technology to teach non-conventional subjects that are not being taught at other colleges in the State and that the College would be self-financing.
Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan has 119 branches in India and 9 overseas branches in countries like Australia, Canada, Kuwait, Mexico, Portugal, Singapore, South Africa, UK and USA. It is one of the prolific institutions in the world. It was a vision of Kulguru Munshi to establish a charity which can impart the modern ways and in that way make the people of the nation Medium School was started in June 1984.
