Babu Sundar Singh Institute of Technology and Management, Lucknow Admissions 2023: Important Dates, Application process

At the undergraduate level, Babu Sundar Singh Institute of Technology and Management offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree program under multiple specializations. The duration for all the B.Tech specializations is four years each. The institute also provides B.Tech degree under lateral entry.

For admission to first year of B.Tech, candidate should have passed intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized board or university and securing minimum 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST category candidates). UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination) is conducted by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) for admission to B.Tech courses.

The subject combination required in the qualifying examination (intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent) for admission to first year of different courses shall be Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any one of following subjects - Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject.

• 5% marks relaxation in the eligibility criteria will be given for the candidates belonging to SC and ST categories.
• The college also accepts 20% of total sanctioned candidates on the basis of JEE Main as per the State Govt. norms.

Babu Sundar Singh Institute of Technology and Management offers Master of Technology (M.Tech) program at the postgraduate level. M.Tech program is offered under two specialization subjects.

Candidates must possess B.E /B.Tech degree in the relevant specialization and should have scored at least 60% marks in graduation degree examination in the relevant branch of engineering.

Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria will have to appear in General Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), an online exam conducted by IITs and IISC every year in the month of February.
