St. Xavier’s Catholic College of Engineering (SXCCE) was established in 1998 at Kanyakumari District, Tamil Nadu. It is affiliated to Anna University and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
St. Xavier’s Catholic College of Engineering offers six undergraduate and twelve postgraduate courses. SXCCE also has five research departments recognized by the university. There are 480 seats available for various fields in B.E. program and 60 seats for B.Tech (IT) program. There are approximately 198 seats for M.E and 60 seats for MCA and MBA.

SXCCE B.E. and B.Tech Admission 2023
SXCCE offers B.E in 5 specializations and B.Tech in Information Technology. The minimum qualification for this program is Higher Secondary Examinations (10+2) as prescribed by the Tamil Nadu Government with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as three main subjects in the curriculum.
Candidates who have passed B.Sc. or Diploma in engineering by the State Board of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply for the lateral admissions to the program.
Admission will be done on the basis of TNEA counselling. TNEA Rank is issued based on the marks in 10+2 in Science stream.

- Candidates must register themselves in TNEA conducted online by ANNA University to be eligible to claim their seat in SXCCE.

The college offers M.E., MCA and an MBA program as undergraduate courses. The minimum qualification for these programs is a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent as prescribed by the Tamil Nadu Government.
Admission to ME/MBA/MCA courses is provided on the basis of the performance of the candidates in TANCET, conducted by Anna University.
Candidates with a valid GATE score will also be considered for admission in M.E. Those with a valid score in CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT are also considered for admission in MBA.
