Srinivasan Engineering College (SEC) offers four years B.E. course in four specializations and two years M.E. course in VLSI Design.

- Selection of the candidates is done on the basis of their merit in HSC through TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission) counseling process conducted by the Anna University, Chennai.
- Relaxation of 5% is given to the candidates of BC/ BCM category and 10% relaxation is given to the MBC and DNC candidates.
- SC/ ST/ SCA candidates are required to only pass the qualifying examination.

Srinivasan Engineering College offers four years full-time BE course in four specializations.
Applicants who have passed HSC with minimum 55% marks in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry or any one of the vocational subject put together from any recognized Board or from Higher Secondary Board of Tamil Nadu are considered eligible for admission to BE course. Applicants who belong to Backward Class is given relaxation of 5% and 10% relaxation is given to the MBC & DNC candidates in the qualifying marks secured in HSC.
Selection of the candidates is done on the basis of merit through TNEA conducted by the Anna University. The merit list is prepared by normalizing the marks obtained in the relevant subjects of HSC and the cutoff score is reduced to 200 including Mathematics 100, and Physics + Chemistry 100.

Key Points for Admission:
- If in case any two students score same marks then the selection of the candidates is done on the basis of following criterion:
- Percentage obtained in Mathematics/ Physics.
- Percentage obtained in the fourth optional subject.
- DOB (elder candidate is given preference)
- Random number assigned (high value is preferred).
- Marks obtained in HSC qualifying examination conducted by CBSE is equated with the marks obtained in the qualifying examination conducted by the State Board of Tamil Nadu.

- Fees for Online Mode: INR 500 (General) and INR 250 (SC/ST/OBCs).
- Fees for Offline Mode: INR 700 (General) and INR 450 (SC/ST/OBCs).
- Photocopies of following documents have to be enclosed along with the application form:
- SSC and HSC Mark Sheet.
- HSC admit card.
- Transfer Certificate from last institute studied.

- After form filling candidates will have to sit for counseling. Online counseling will be conducted on June 27.
- In counselling, candidates will be called in the order of merit. Based on the merit and communal reservation criteria, allotment of the branch/college chosen by the candidate will be done.
- For counselling fees, candidates have to pay an initial deposit of INR 5000 (INR 1000 for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu) by Cash or DD and produce all their original certificates during counseling.
