Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj College of Engineering (SSGMCE) Admission 2024: Cut Off, Scholarship, Important Dates

SSGMCE offers B.E. degree in five specializations and lateral entry admission in second year of B.E. Selection to first year of B.E. will be based on MH-CET score. Applicants must also register for CAP conducted by DTE, Maharashtra. All India candidature candidates can apply on the basis of JEE Main score.

To be eligible, candidates must have passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and obtained at least 50% marks. Diploma holders in Engineering/Technology or B.Sc. Degree from a UGC recognized and have studied Mathematics as a subject in class 12 are eligible for lateral admission.

Note: Minimum 40% marks is required for backward class and PwD candidates belonging to Maharashtra only.

The college also offers degree of Master in Engineering in four specializations at post graduate level. The counselling of eligible candidates is strictly done on the basis of valid GATE scores.

Any candidate seeking admission to first year of M.E. must have passed bachelor’s degree in Engineering and Technology in a relevant branch with minimum 50% marks from an institution approved by AICTE/Central/ State Government or equivalent. 

Note: Sponsored candidates need minimum two-year of full-time work experience in a relevant field from a registered firm/ educational or research institute/Government Department or Autonomous Organization.

SSGMCE runs a comprehensive course of MBA with 60 seats in total. Maharashtra candidates have to apply on the basis of MAH CET MBA scores while All India candidature candidates can apply on the scores of other national level entrance tests such as CAT/XAT/CMAT/XAT/GMAT. Admissions are given to eligible candidates through CAP.

To be eligible, candidates need to have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a UGC or AIU recognized university with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
