Sree Dattha Institute of Engineering and Science (SDIES), Ibrahimpatnam Admission 2024: Important Dates, Application process

Sree Dattha Institute of Engineering and Science offers B.Tech degree course in five specializations. The minimum eligibility to apply is 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Those who have passed or appeared in the final year of the Diploma examination are also eligible to apply.

Admission to B.Tech is done on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the TS EAMCET score.

Key Points:

• The applicant should be of Indian Nationality and should belong to the state of Telangana/ Andhra Pradesh.
• Candidates should satisfy local / non-local status requirements.
• 75% weightage will be given to the TS EAMCET score and 25% to the marks obtained in 10+2.
• Candidates must be of at least 16 years of age as on December 31 of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit.
• SC/ST candidates are given 5% relaxation in the qualifying exam percentage criteria.

At the PG level, the institute offers M.Tech in 7 disciplines. Candidates must have a BE / B.Tech/ MCA course or its equivalent to be eligible.

Admission to M.Tech is done on the basis of TS PGECET. GATE qualified candidates will be registered separately for admission.

Key Points:

• During final admission, GATE qualified candidates will be given preference. The vacant seats after admitting GATE qualified candidates will be filled with the candidates based on marks scored in TS PGECET.
• The qualifying percentage of marks for TS PGECET is 25% of the maximum marks. For reserved category candidates, no minimum qualifying marks are prescribed.

The institute offers an MBA program with an intake of 240 students. To be eligible, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks.

Admission to MBA is based on the valid score in TS ICET. However, those with valid CAT or MAT score will be given preference.

Note: Qualifying marks in TS ICET are 25% for general candidates. No such qualifying marks for SC/ST candidates.

SDIES offers Diploma course in five disciplines. Applicants must have passed 10th with at least 35% marks conducted by State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana with Mathematics as one of the subjects to be eligible. Admission to Diploma courses is based on the valid score in TS POLYCET.

Key Points:

• POLYCET exam consists of 120 questions for 120 marks. 60 questions are asked from Mathematics and 30 each from Physics and Chemistry.
• Additionally, candidates belonging to NIOS/ TOSS/ APOSS/ CBSE/ ICSE/ other examinations recognized as equivalent should have passed Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, with a minimum of 35% marks in each subject.
• Candidates should have at least scored 36 marks out of 120 in order to qualify TS POLYCET.
