Siliguri Institute of Technology (SIT) has the best placement cell compared to other colleges in Darjeeling. According to the previous records, various students are placed earlier, and currently, they are working in different eminent companies throughout India. The placement cell had been focusing on teaching the practical skills required in today's IT industry. Siliguri Institute of Technology Scholarship

- Hostel: The College has their excellent hostel facility for its students. There are separate hostels for the boys and girls candidates.
