Eligibility
- For B.Tech, candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects with minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for Backward class and PWD candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together.
- For B.Tech (Lateral), candidates must have passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks for Backward class and PWD candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only),
- Alternatively for B.Tech (Lateral), candidates with B.Sc. from a recognised university as defined by UGC and obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks for Backward class and PWD candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) and passed 10+2 with Mathematics as a subject, are also eligible.
- Students appearing for 10+2 or Engineering Diploma are also eligible.
- Maharashtra State candidates must have to appear for MHT-CET.
- All India candidates need to appear for MHT-CET/JEE Mains. However, JEE Mains will be preferred over MHT-CET.

- Admission is through counseling conducted by DTE Maharashtra based on marks obtained in Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHCET) or rank obtained in JEE-Mains.
- For international students admission is through counseling conducted by DTE Maharashtra based on marks obtained in mandatory subjects in 10+2.
- The admission for first-year engineering degree courses is done through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP).
