Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering came into existence in the year 2001 with an intake of just 150 students in three courses which has now raised to 700 in five UG and seven PG courses showing continuous dedication of the management towards education. The college offers students a great number of facilities and a highly qualified team of faculty members who are always supportive and help students clear any doubts. Modern infrastructure with continuous developments and state of the art equipment is helping the college in moving towards their goal. Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering is focused on imparting world class education to its students regardless of any boundaries or obstacles. The institute offers its students a number of government and private scholarship schemes. The scholarships are provided to deserving and eligible candidates in order to financially assist them in case they are unable to pay the full tuition fee. The institute adheres to the rules and regulations laid down by the DTE, Government of Maharashtra regarding admission of students in the reservation criteria.
These merit scholarships for Engineering students are supported by the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) and targets meritorious students from economically backward sections of society.
This scholarship for Engineering is started by the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC), is meant for deserving candidates from the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe and physically challenged students.
It was started with the objective of providing them with financial aid to help shape their careers. 2nd year Engineering students falling in these categories are eligible for this particular scholarship
