JSCOE Admission

JSCOE offers admission in two phases, the first phase is online, and the second phase is counseling rounds by the college. The students must meet all the eligibility requirements and pass the entrance exams according to the information in the course table.

JSCOE Facilities

JSCOE resides at the vibrant and green Hadapsar campus of JSPM. The campus provides the following facilities to its students.

Hostel: The Hadapsar campus offers hostel accommodation only for girls. The institute provides well-furnished rooms with different occupancy requirements of the students. The hostel provides a canteen facility, security, free Wi-Fi, and recreational facilities. The fees for each student is INR 35000 for a year.
Moodle (Learning Management System): JSCOE manages the student’s learning online through the Learning Management System, Moodle. The LMS can be accessed here https://lms.jspmjscoe.edu.in/. The LMS provides a centralized structure for students and faculties to access and post-study material and manages the whole learning ecosystem effectively.
Transport Facilities: The institute offers transport facilities like buses to students commuting from different places within Pune. The students and faculty must pay a fee to use the transport facility. There are also inter-campus bus facilities.
Extracurricular activities: The institute has a sports ground with varied sports facilities like volleyball, basketball, badminton, football, and cricket. There are also indoor game facilities at the campus. The college also has a huge NSS participation.

What Students Say?

The competitive exam is also taken by college and university. Pune University is the best university in Maharashtra.
There is a very good opportunity in the internship because Cyberspark Innovation and Elipsa are start-ups started by college students.
Some batches have seen very successful placement drives, while a couple of batches had to struggle with placements due to the low market conditions.
One good thing about the institute is that you can choose to pay in installments according to your preference.
There is free WiFi in most of the classrooms, as well as in the library and labs.
I dont live in a hostel as my home is here. However, there are separate hostels for boys and girls. The girls hostel is very good and protective. I have visited it once and the security is perfect. No one can go outside without permission.
The college campus has excellent teaching and good teachers. There are also extracurricular activities available on campus. The outer campus is also good. The number of visiting companies for campus interviews is high. They provide us with a teaching staff that offers a good learning experience.

Dislike

Students who were placed got placement on their own. However, various training and placement activities were conducted by the TPO.
Also, very few practicals are conducted, and students are forced to do nonsensical tasks such as meaningless writing work, etc.

No i don't want to see any improvement in the admission process because it was quite easy, though they gave us too many forms to fill up it was easy to fill information in it so I don't want to suggest any type of improvements

Pursuing B.E in CS at Jayawantrao Sawant College of Engineering Pune

Eligibility for applying to this college is min 60% required in 10th and 12th and also candidate must have been appearing in jee. In this college, various types of scholarships are provided to the students on basis of their admission category which I think is one of the best support for those students who are economically weaker. Application form filling is a long process as like other colleges but it's smooth as well management is sometimes very supportive. College fees depend on students' category and reservation so they may vary according to that. According to me if they add more staff and do everything with proper planning then all processes of admission are going with a proper systematical flow but at last, they managed everything on time this I say is a positive side.
